Girls Day

This past Saturday Virginia, Allison, and I decided to forget about football and have a girls day.  Considering the weather was beautiful and cool (for Louisiana, it was in the 70s), we wanted to have a nice lunch outside.  After searching online for a new place we've never tried, I found a restaurant called O-Ya-Yas.  Unfortunately when we got there they were closed for the day (probably because of the LSU game).  The place was beautiful! It was located in an old house that was also a gift store.  The store had wonderful smelling handmade soaps, jewelry, decor, etc.  They also offer group painting lessons.  Here are some pictures from their beautiful courtyard. Can't wait to go back when the restaurant is open.

Since our first lunch idea didn't work out, we went to Mason's Grill and had their bottomless Champagne Brunch.  Still a wonderful and delicious idea.

After lunch we went to a thrift store, the mall, and a movie.  We saw "You Again", so cute. Can't wait for our next girls day.
